Learn to create delicious, bubblicious fermented foods to spice up your meals, preserve your backyard harvest, improve your gut health, and strengthen your immune system.
Registration fee includes 2-liter Fido jar ($15 value), fresh local vegetables ($20 value), mason jars, fermentation tasting, CSU handouts, formulas for fermenting "anything", and expert guidance from master fermenter Jeff Dautrich and CSU Extension’s Tina Haney.
This hands-on workshop will teach you the benefits of fermentation, recipe combinations, and techniques for successful ferments. You'll learn the difference between pickling and fermenting for preserving your harvest. You'll chop vegetables, learn from experts, meet other enthusiasts, and leave with a Fido jar and several mason jars packed with local produce.
